Sh2-115 is the bright emission nebula at the top right of the image and is a star-forming region. The smaller bright patch towards the right of the image is the emission nebula SH2-112. The bright star is Deneb, (Alpha Cygni), the brightest star of the constellation Cygnus, and one of the most luminous stars known.
