Little Pictures of Climate at COP28

The European Space Agency announced the winner of their Little Pictures of Climate competition at the UN COP28 conference in Dubai earlier this month. Congratulations to Sacha Berna of the University of Caen, France, for her winning illustration of land use in Brazil. Planetary Visions helped define the minimalist aesthetic for the competition earlier this year by designing some of the exemplar data-driven graphics used to inspire the 500+ entrants from across Europe. learn more...

Global Space Conference on Climate Change

This week sees the first Global Space Conference on Climate Change (GLOC 2023), and Planetary Visions is bringing some of that change to the conference's doorstep in the form of a short animation comparing the scale of the world's annual ice loss to the conference's host city, Oslo. GLOC 2023 is jointly organised by the International Astronautical Federation and the Norwegian Space Agency. learn more...
